Today, I accompanied Sandy and Eric (the dog aka ‘Doug, the dug’) to a place in Bristol called Snuff Mills. There is a mill house and gardens (not pictured) by a river walk and lots of trees, all of which is a part of the Frome Valley walkway.
The sun was shining, the ducks were swimming, the birds were singing, the company was great, lots of families and their dogs (but not too many) were also enjoying the space, and it felt good to be out and about in one of my favourite places in Bristol. I didn’t walk as far as Sandy or Eric, but it was a lovely afternoon out for all of us, and I am definitely still breathing after that experience, slowly stepping out of Covid restrictions, and embracing the Spring.
Similar experiences are planned, where circumstances allow, through the Spring and Summer. I look forward to them.
Thank you to Sandy and Eric for the company, and to Sandy for the transport…..all of which is greatly appreciated.
